Creamy Casserole
As part of the Taste of Nordkyn experience, Oace's signature dish is Creamy Casserole of sliced reindeer accompanied by fresh vegetables and local lingonberries.
Eat, Drink and Shop
Do you want a delicious, local meal in pleasant surroundings with a view toward the Ifjord River? We make food with love - of both the ingredients and our guests. How does a fresh waffle and a cup of coffee sound? Or do you just need a bit of chocolate?
In our kiosk, you can buy drinks, snacks, ice cream, dry goods, bread and spreads. We also have a small interior shop with local craft products where we offer a selection of high-quality wares. We have blankets and seating mats of Norwegian wool from Sami Stories. Maybe you’ll find a souvenir for someone you love, or a well-deserved gift for yourself.
Accommodation
Oace offers accommodation in single and double rooms in the main building, with a shared kitchen to cook simple meals.
We also have large and small cabins on the riverbank and parking spaces for RVs and camper vans, which include sanitary facilities and electricity. We offer a sauna for rent and a carpenter’s shed for children to play in. Oace is close to Laksefjordvidda and Ifjordfjellet, with fantastic hunting and fishing opportunities or one-of-a-kind hiking trips in the immediate vicinity.
You can find us in Ifjord, an arctic oasis in a small village in Finnmark. It is where east meets west, in between vast plains and the wild Arctic coast.
We’re here to give you a comfortable bed to sleep in, a good meal, and a recharge of energy for the road ahead.
