Christmas Museum
Nissehuset Christmas Museum has over 27 000 items. As such, we represent the world's largest private collection of Christmas artifacts. Most of the items are bought at second hand shops and markets over many years, while others have been donated as gifts from locals or guests.
The oldest item on display is from the year 1750!
During the period of 15. May - 15. September, we are open for daily guided tours from 12.00 - 20.00. At other times of the year, we are open by request. Tickets cost NOK 100/adult (NOK 50/kids and seniors).
Bidos
As part of the Taste of Nordkyn experience, Nissehuset serves Bidos - a traditional reindeer stew with delicious fresh bread - as its signature dish.
Food and drink
At Nissehuset, you will find a pleasant dockside pub with fantastic outdoor service on fine summer days. We have a simple menu: we serve the local specialty Bidos with bread, pizza for those who prefer, and a rich selection of drinks and a few snacks.
Accommodation
Nissehuset is located in the old fish depot “Wilgårdsbruket”, right next to the dock. We offer accommodation in great twin rooms with very comfortable beds. Here you can wake up to the sound of rolling waves and seagull calls. All the rooms have private bathrooms and a small kitchen corner for preparing small meals when breakfast is not included.
Sauna
We have a phenomenal sauna on the edge of the dock with room for 6 people, with perfect opportunities to cool down in the Barents Sea from our floating dock, or you can roll outside in the snow.
The sauna has to be reserved in advance at least 2 hours before use. Price NOK 750,- per hour, no matter how many users. The price includes the rental of towels for everyone.
Jacuzzi
We offer an indoor jacuzzi with a view of the harbor, with space for 6 people. The jacuzzi is ready for use in the period 15. May - 15. September, but it is best to reserve in advance to the desired time. Price NOK 2500,- per use (up to 2 hours). The price includes the rental of towels for everyone.

Car rental 8-seater: NOK 2325,- per day
