Music under the Midnight Sun
This event in Kjøllefjord is held in honor of a local blues musician (Kristen "Chris" Lyngedal), and features local, national and international musicians and artists.
Every year at the end of June, the four-day festival features concerts, exhibitions, and outdoor and craft events for the whole family - all under the Midnight Sun.
The festival delivers quality performers and also promotes skilled local musicians.
The main venue is Foldalbruket, an old fish factory with heritage status. On the former fish drying floor, you can lean against solid wooden beams or enjoy the music sitting on painted fish crates with barrels for tables. Together with the music, the setting creates a unique and memorable experience.
