Nordkyn is easily accessible by air, the Hurtigruten coastliner and bus or car.
The Hurtigruten coastliner stops in Kjøllefjord and Mehamn twice daily.
Mehamn Airport is serviced by daily scheduled flights, and other regional airports have direct flights to and from Norway's capital, Oslo.
Widerøe has several daily flights from Tromsø, Hammerfest and Vadsø to Mehamn.
Both SAS and Norwegian have year-round direct flights to Kirkenes, from where you can reach Nordkyn with Hurtigruten or by road. You can also fly directly between Oslo and Lakselv with Norwegian.
Another option is direct flights from Oslo to Alta and continuing by car or bus (about 400km).
Bus routes connect Nordkyn to Lakselv and points beyond. Several rental agencies provide cars in Lakselv, Vadsø, Kirkenes and Alta.
The roads to Nordkyn (county roads 888 and 894) are very scenic, with many opportunities to enjoy nature and ocean views. They cross several mountain passes, and when driving in winter it is necessary to follow the weather and road condition forecasts closely.
The Snelandia and Flexx bus and minibus routes connect Kjøllefjord, Mehamn, Gamvik and Skjånes with each other and points further south. Taxis are also available.
