The Museum

Housed in an old fish factory facing the Barents Sea, Gamvik Museum is a truly authentic framework for the history of the fishing industry and coastal culture.

The turbulent history of Nordkyn is revealed here through a number of exhibitions. The museum is part of the Museum of Reconstruction, specialising in the history of reconstruction of Finnmark following WWII.
